ok so, i like peggy and i think her and steve had a sweet relationship in tfa and my heart broke when steve called her “his best girl” in tws and i was also sad when she died in cw but she’s been dead 2 years (longer now probably, depending where endgame picks up) and they were dead to each other for longer than that because she moved on and got married and, you know, steve was in ice. plus even when he came back a 20-something year old and a 90 year old women are not going to get together (obviously) so can marvel give steve some new motivation to fight pls…. its so old and boring seeing him bring out the thing with her photo in it again. she was already used as his inspiration in cw. maybe the fact that sam and bucky are gone and that steve had to watch bucky die AGAIN after just getting him back and him finally being freed of hydra’s triggers words can be what motivates steve in a4. not a girl who he kissed once and who is now dead because honestly???? its bordering on creepy now
